Gramma's and Papa's

We had a great week with Gramma Kit and Papa Jack! The girls played while the boys painted the front of the house. We all got to swim together each day(after the work was finished) at Aunt Kathi's and at Aunt Lori's the last day. 'Twas so nice to spend a little time with everyone! We love all you Thousand Oakians so much!

more "girls night out"

We had so much fun at the Mid-State fair in Paso Robles on Wed the 30th. We waited to go til the sun went down(it's usually in the triple digits there)so it was oh so nice! And oh so out of the ordinary for our girls to stay up til MIDNIGHT! We even went through Taco Bell on the way home!!!!! Talley couldn't believe I said OK when she asked.

Talley

Talley brings home the Bronze Medal-taking 3rd place for the 1500m run at the National Jr Olympics held in Omaha,Nebraska on July 29th!

Re:Girls Night Out

I couldn't figure out how to add text to the slide show....Sorry everybody! So, Cassandra, Talley, Erin, Savannah, and myself went to the Mid State Fair on Wednesday night(the 30th of July). We saw this Christian band called "Skillet". They ROCKED!! It was really loud, but really fun!! Savannah and Talley enjoyed waving the cell phones around during the slow ballads(the lead singer asked everyone to). Erin was unsure and needed periodical reassurance from her mommy, but was a great sport. She even "rocked" out a few times herself! We ate dippin' dots ice cream and funnel cake(which I paid for later-ha ha ha) and then when the concert was over, the girls got to pick 2 rides to go on. They are both daredevils, but unfortunately Savannah was too short to go on most of the rides. They ended up riding these cool swings that go way high in the air, and a silly fast round-e-round ride that made Cassandra and I sick just to watch!! It was a really great girls night out!!!
