Mothers Day 2009

Our, semi-new, Mothers Day tradition is to have brunch at the Hills house. It's so much fun to get together with everyone in the Hills beautiful back yard. This year we were so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Lori come up for the day. They almost didn't make it but I'm so glad that they did. We love you guys so much!

To my beautiful Mother who has shown me love, patience and strength. You inspire me to be a better Mother and as my children grow (and frustrate me) I think back to all that you went through raising 4 girls, and for the latter part 4 girls on your own. You were always there for us... as our GS leader, BB coach, PTA member, driver back and forth to auditions...etc. You always listened when I came home and talked your ear off about something I happened to be excited about at the moment. Mom, you are an amazing woman. I respect and admire you for all your strength. For the continual love that you have for me and my children. You have been and continue to be one of my best friends. I love you!!!!

Sisters... each one of you inspire me as a Mother and as a person. You are all SO beautiful and amazing Mothers. I love you for your continual support and your friendship.

Grandma... the love in this family comes from you. You have more love in your heart than anyone I have ever know. You are truly beautiful inside and out. A Mother of 3, a Grandmother of 13 and a great Grandmother of ... ? lots... and you somehow have shown each one of us equal love. I love you 1000 bushels!
Lori... I just wanted to tell you that you are and have always been a great Mother. I believe that whatever your children think of you at the moment is not really how they feel about you as there Mother. Having your parents separate is an incredibly hard thing to go through and maybe there feeling toward you are getting mixed into there emotions about the separation. Hang in there and KNOW that you are such a beautiful woman and a loving Mother and Granna. I love you!
